ENERGY CENTRE MAINTENANCE FITTER

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the site’s Energy Centre for a qualified maintenance Fitter/Technician to join the team, working on a dayshift roster. This role will report through to the Energy Centre Mechanical Team Leader.

The preferred candidate will possess a minimum L4 Mechanical Engineering qualification or similar, and have sound heavy industrial experience.

The role will focus on boiler-related maintenance, however for a high performing candidate this role offers a unique training opportunity to become fully qualified in Boiler Operations. A career path towards fulltime Boiler Operations, working rotational shifts once fully qualified is the aim.

Preference will be given to candidates who have made some progress towards an ENCHEM qualification, and who have some understanding of wood waste fuel systems, steam generation and prior work experience in similar plants.

A pragmatic and committed approach to safety in the work environment is essential. Reliable team players with a “can-do” attitude are sought to join the Red Stag team.
