Downer is looking for an experienced Builder / Foreperson to join our Invercargill Construction team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate crews, oversee daily site activities, and help deliver high-quality civil and construction projects across Southland.

Ngā pūkenga matua | Skills & Experience

  • Proven building or civil construction experience
  • Previous foreman or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience coordinating crews and subcontractors
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices
  • Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 advantageous)
  • A hands-on leader who leads by example
  • Reliable, motivated, and safety focused
  • Strong problem-solving skills and site awareness
  • Someone who takes pride in delivering quality outcomes
  • A team player with a positive attitude
