This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who wants to make a real difference. As an HR Advisor, you will be a trusted partner to managers and staff across the Spectrum Group – providing practical, values-aligned advice on HR and employment relations matters.
Role
As a key member of our HR Advisory team, you will help shape a high-quality, credible HR function that genuinely supports our people. This role is perfect for someone who wants to:
- Build great HR practice that genuinely makes life easier for managers and staff.
- Provide confident, clear advice on HR processes and employment relations.
- Strengthen our systems, processes, and ways of working – leaving things better than you found them.
- Deliver consistently and pragmatically, even when things get complex or pressured.

You are someone who brings both competence and character to their work. We’re looking for a person who:
- Is excited to be part of a purpose-driven, values-led organisation.
- Is passionate about improving the lives of disabled people and their whānau.
- Wants to help build modern, fit-for-purpose HR practices alongside a great team.
- Brings at least 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
- Has a solid understanding of NZ employment law and employment relations.
- Is values-led, builds strong relationships, and communicates with clarity and confidence.
- Is a natural problem-solver who enjoys finding practical solutions.
- Thrives in a busy, collaborative environment.
