Truck Driver – Coal & Logistics | Queenstown

RealNZ is on the hunt for a reliable, safety-conscious Truck Driver to take ownership of coal movements and logistics across our Queenstown operations. This role is focused on the safe, efficient delivery and handling of coal, including bunkering the iconic TSS Earnslaw and operating ash removal processes.

You’ll be behind the wheel of our Class 2 vehicles, ensuring all coal and material movements are carried out responsibly, safely, and on schedule. This isn’t just about driving, it’s about taking accountability for the full coal handling cycle, from receiving and storage through to delivery, bunkering, and ash removal. Working closely with our Operations team you’ll help ensure coal supply is consistently maintained and coordinated to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver coal and related materials across Queenstown operations
• Bunker coal to the TSS Earnslaw in line with safety and operational standards
• Operate ash removal truck and manage waste handling processes responsibly
• Receive, handle, store, and dispatch coal and goods accurately
• Ensure all vehicle and equipment use meets safety and compliance requirements

Who are we looking for?

• Full Class 2 licence (essential)
• W,T,R,F (preferred)
• Experience operating loaders (preferred)
• Physically fit and capable of shovelling and handling large volumes of coal
• Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Strong communicator and team player who takes pride in safe, reliable work
