The position of Night Auditor/Guest Services Agent spans front office reception and Night Audit tasks, requiring a hospitality professional with a level head, professionalism, and the ability to make our guests welcome with exceptional service.
From checking guests in/out, to dealing with guest queries and complaints, this varied position will require exceptional communication skills and the ability to think on your feet. You will be confident in your decision-making and have a strong focus on Health and Safety.
You will be able to problem solve to ensure accuracy in accounting and be able to work unsupervised. You must be strong in using computer systems, reporting, and spreadsheeting. Experience in Reservations will be highly regarded.
This is a p art-time role with minimum of 10 hours per week and the pay rate of $28.50 per hour.
Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel
- Cash handling
- Communicating with hotel guests and resolving queries and complaints
- Liaising with, and communicating all relevant information to the Front Office team and to other departments
- Forming audit reports
- Ensuring that all security procedures are followed in relation to cash, keys, guest security and privacy

The successful candidate will need to possess the following attributes
- Must be available to work 22:30-07:00 graveyard shift that can include weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work unsupervised, on your own and as part of a team
- High standard of accuracy and great attention to detail
- Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail
- Team player
- Full NZ Drivers License is essential
- Current valid right to work in NZ
