Te Tūranga | About the role
Working as part of our Technology and Transformation function, this Application Specialist role sits within our ERP applications team, supporting our Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform and our wider ERP ecosystem.
A key focus of the role is supporting Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Systems (SCM), while also contributing across other D365 suite of applications. These systems are critical to the smooth operation of our manufacturing and supply chain environments, and your work helps ensure they remain reliable, fit for purpose, and continuously improving.
You’ll operate as a cross-functional specialist, working across the full application lifecycle. From incident triage and troubleshooting through to system configuration, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and release management, you’ll play a central role in how our ERP platforms evolve and perform.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business, vendors, and technology teams. You’ll also contribute to low-code configuration and enhancements, building workflows, reports, and system improvements that deliver real business value.
Ōu Pūkenga | About You
You’re a customer-focused, adaptable application specialist who enjoys working across multiple systems and problem spaces. You take ownership of issues, communicate clearly, and are comfortable balancing support, analysis, and delivery in a fast-paced environment.
You’re naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and motivated by improving systems and processes to deliver better outcomes for the business.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Experience supporting ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, WMS) or similar systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor etc.).
- Experience across the application lifecycle including support, configuration, testing, and release management.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, systems analysis, and solution design.
- Experience with workflows, reporting, and data analysis.
- Experience troubleshooting complex system issues and working with vendors and stakeholders to resolve them.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience).
Key attributes we’re looking for
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Customer-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across systems
- Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
