Business Systems Analyst

We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Energy Services Platforms team. This role will suit someone that thrives at the intersection of technology and business and is motivated to make systems simpler, smarter and more effective for our teams who rely on them every day.
About The Role
You'll collaborate with business teams, digital teams, and vendors to align our systems with business needs to drive operational excellence. You'll streamline processes, support major system related initiatives and projects, and directly enhance efficiency, service quality, and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating with stakeholders to thoroughly assess business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable system specifications
- Providing ongoing support, maintenance, and continuous improvement for core business systems and integrations
- Analysing issues and delivering escalated support as necessary, ensuring operations remain uninterrupted
- Participating in system enhancements, upgrades, and project delivery activities
- Organising and facilitating testing processes, including System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to confirm that solutions are robust and meet business needs
- Creating comprehensive user documentation and assisting with training initiatives to support successful system adoption
- Recognising opportunities to optimise processes and enhance system performance
- Establishing and fostering strong, reliable relationships with internal teams and external vendors
- Championing safe, compliant, and quality-driven work practices
- Occasional travel to other Northpower depots (1-2 times a month depending on business requirements)
About You
- 2-4 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar
- Flexibility to travel to other depots
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand both business processes and technical systems
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process improvement, and system support
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine focus on delivering value to the business
