Join us as a Civil Operator in Greymouth. This is a hands-on role in our busy Civil Construction team, where you’ll operate a range of plant and machinery to support civil and roading works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is a role for someone who likes getting stuck in, takes pride in doing good work, and backs their team. You’ll work alongside good people, be trusted to do the job well, and help deliver work that matters for the local community.
Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities
- Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently across civil and roading works.
- Carry out skilled tasks as directed by your supervisor or team leader.
- Maintain equipment in a professional manner and complete machinery checks.
- Support the team to deliver work on time and to a high-quality standard.
- Contribute to a strong safety culture on site, because when it counts, we look after each other.

- A Full Class 1 licence and WTR endorsements (Class 2 is advantageous).
- Recent and relevant experience in the civil construction industry.
- A proactive approach to health, safety and wellbeing.
- A strong focus on quality and getting the job done right.
- A reliable, accountable and team-focused attitude.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
