About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager/Sales Representative to join our NZ sales team.
In this exciting hybrid role, you will be responsible for maximising the sales within the Gastroenterology, Standard Solutions and IV Drugs product portfolios in NZ. Reporting to the Gastroenterology Sales and Product Manager ANZ (with a dotted line to the Business Unit Manager, Pharma ANZ), you will be required to work closely with your colleagues to drive community sales and gain further market share in a competitive and growing market.

Your Responsibilities
Sales
· Achieve sales targets for the assigned territory and products by effectively analysing performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities.
· Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals through consultative selling, regular face-to-face interactions, and delivery of key product messages aligned with the Fresenius Kabi selling model.
· Enhance Fresenius Kabi's corporate image by demonstrating professional conduct, delivering customer value, facilitating product trials, and managing promotional spend within budget.
Territory Management & Customer Support
- Develop, implement, and regularly review territory and account plans in collaboration with your Manager to maximise outcomes based on customer segmentation and targeting principles.
- Effectively manage territory operations, including CRM utilisation, coordination with cross-functional teams, prioritisation of activities, and achievement of territory KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, KDMs, and local organisations to develop advocacy for Fresenius Kabi brands and support long- and short-term business growth.
Administration
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant CRM records, ensuring all activities are entered within required timeframes and aligned with SOPs.
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and expense claims accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with management and colleagues, participate in meetings as required, and maintain strong computer and software proficiency.
Knowledge and Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Fresenius Kabi products, competitors, industry trends, and customer needs within relevant therapeutic areas.
- Comply at all times with Fresenius Kabi policies, SOPs, Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Promptly report adverse drug reactions, medical device adverse events, and complaints in accordance with Fresenius Kabi pharmacovigilance and reporting procedures.
What we are looking for
- A minimum of 2 years account management/sales experience preferably within the health, retail pharmacy or hospital industries
- Tertiary qualifications in health, business, science or relevant discipline
- MTANZ (Code of Conduct) is essential
- MS Office
- Product and Hospital Knowledge are desirable
- Current Driver's License and the willingness to travel within NZ
