Lead Engineer – Land Infrastructure - Christchurch

Help deliver infrastructure projects that support growing communities across Christchurch and wider New Zealand, working across transport, land development, utilities and public infrastructure projects.

What the role feels like

This is a senior civil engineering role combining technical delivery, client engagement and mentoring within a growing regional team. You’ll work across multidisciplinary projects delivering practical infrastructure solutions from concept through to detailed design.

What you’ll do

• Deliver civil designs across roads, drainage, utilities and earthworks
• Support transport, land development and public infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation
• Mentor and support junior engineers
• Work directly with clients to solve infrastructure challenges
• Contribute to proposals and project delivery across the wider team

What you’ll bring

• Degree qualified Civil Engineer
• Around 10+ years’ experience in civil infrastructure design
• Strong technical capability across civil infrastructure projects
• Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartership
• Experience across roads, drainage, pavements and utilities
• Working knowledge of 12d, Civil 3D or similar software
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Collaborative approach with interest in mentoring others
