This position can be either permanent full‑time (40 hours) or part‑time.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who brings compassion, clinical skill and curiosity to rehabilitative needs. If you enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and are motivated by supporting people recovering from traumatic or acquired brain injury, as well as those living with complex physical or neurological disabilities, we would love to hear from you.

About The Role

As part of our nursing team, you will support residents with a range of complex clinical and rehabilitative needs. No two days are the same, you will combine hands-on clinical practice with advocacy, person-centered planning, and coordination of care within a diverse team of skilled health professionals. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be working in partnership with clients and their families/whanau with high cognitive and medical needs. Experience in brain injury, neurology, rehabilitation or a similar field is ideal.

Desired Skills And Experience

We are looking for a nurse who brings clinical skills, compassion and teamwork

You will have:

  • At least 2 years postgraduate experience as a Registerd Nurse and must hold a current New Zealand practising certificate.
  • Strong assessment, planning and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciploinary team
  • The ability to provide leadership and direction to care staff during shifts
  • A commitment to person-centered, values based care
  • If you are not a NZ Citizen or permanent resident, you must hold a valid NZ work visa

Preferred Experience (not Essential)

  • Rehabilitation nursing, particularly traumatic brain injury (TBI) and neurological conditions
  • Confidence in supporting residents with complex physical or cognitive needs
