Position Details

• Location: Whakatane, New Zealand

• Schedule: Part time - 2 days in Whakatane with scope to increase to 4-5 days if required, travelling to Mount Maunganui on additional days

• Training Provided: Full training to become a

  Registered Nurse Melanographer

What You’ll Do

• Perform full-body skin checks using advanced dermoscopic imaging technology

• Collaborate with dermatologists to support accurate and timely diagnoses

• Educate patients on skin cancer awareness and prevention

• Deliver care in a calm, well-organised outpatient setting

What You Bring

• Current NZ Nursing Council registration as a Registered Nurse

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A passion for preventative care and patient education

• Interest in dermatology or skin health (no prior experience required—training provided)
