Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our Auckland Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, inventory control, and general warehouse upkeep, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety at all times.

A Day in The Life

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for performing a range of warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and maintaining assigned areas.

  • Picking, packing, weighing and dispatching customer orders using manual and RF systems
  • Receiving stock, including supplier deliveries, customer and branch returns
  • Loading and unloading trucks, pallets and materials safely
  • Preparing packing lists, delivery documentation and bills of lading
  • Processing inbound receipts and updating system records accurately
  • Conducting quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
  • Managing stock placement, put-away and bin location maintenance
  • Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies, damages or non-compliant goods
  • Assisting with returns processing and ensuring policy compliance
  • Performing cycle counts and inventory checks
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, safety and organisation
  • Supporting product slotting, bin re-profiling and stock consolidation
  • Operating within productivity standards and following all safety procedures
  • Performing basic equipment checks and supporting preventative maintenance
  • Assisting with counter sales and customer order enquiries where required
  • Supporting general warehouse operations as directed by the supervisor

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 1 year of warehouse operations experience (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills (preferred)
  • Basic hand and power tool skills (preferred)
  • Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling and documentation
