About the role | Mō te tūranga

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role provides national leadership for service innovation, improvement and transformation across Spectrum Care.

You will lead the Service Transformation Portfolio, bringing together strategic initiatives, workforce capability development and practice transformation to improve service quality and outcomes.

This role enables the organisation to design, implement and embed new and improved ways of working consistently across all services.

Working closely with Service Delivery, Quality and Clinical leadership, you will ensure that transformation initiatives are practical, person-centred, and successfully embedded into everyday practice.

You Will

  • Lead and oversee the Service Transformation Portfolio, including strategic and improvement initiatives
  • Design and implement new service models, practices, and ways of working
  • Integrate lived experience, continuous improvement, and organisational strategy into transformation activity
  • Partner with Service Delivery, Quality and Clinical leadership to ensure initiatives are practical and sustainable
  • Support workforce capability development to enable long-term improvement
  • Ensure transformation initiatives are effectively implemented, embedded, and transitioned into business-as-usual
  • Enable the organisation to respond to sector change and future growth opportunities

About you | He kōrero mōu

You are a strategic and systems-focused leader with a strong understanding of how to enable change within complex environments.

You bring the ability to connect strategy with practice- designing improvements that are workable, sustainable, and grounded in the realities of service delivery.

You Will Have

  • Demonstrated experience leading service transformation, improvement, or organisational change initiatives
  • Strong understanding of service delivery within the disability, health, or social services sector
  • Experience designing and embedding new ways of working
  • Ability to bring together strategy, lived experienceand operational insight to drive meaningful improvement
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across senior leaders and frontline teams
  • Experience in programme, portfolio, or project oversight

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in transformation, service improvement, or organisational change roles
  • Experience working across multiple teams or functions in a complex environment
  • Ability to travel nationally as required
