We are looking for a national Manager Service Delivery to lead service delivery operations business units, ensuring that day‑to‑day delivery remains high‑quality, person‑centred, safe, and compliant.

About the role | Mō te tūranga

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer the role ensures consistent, high‑quality, person‑centred service delivery by aligning regional operations, standardising practice, and driving performance across the organisation. You will lead the delivery of services and manage business operations including existing services and new services that meet customer needs. This role is primarily operational, ensuring day‑to‑day delivery excellence, service consistency, and compliance, while supporting the COO in implementing organisational strategy, service transformation initiatives, and quality improvement expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the consistent operation of services across all regions
  • Drive delegated strategic and transformation initiatives, including new service models, service improvements, and system changes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Regional Managers to ensure they are equipped to deliver high‑quality services
  • Strengthen relationships between regional teams, business support partners, funders and whānau.
  • Monitor regional financial performance and follow approved financial processes
  • Ensure regions meet all quality, safety, and service delivery standards
  • Uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi by embedding a deep understanding of Māori as tangata whenua

About you | He kōrero mōu

To be successful in this role you need to have:

  • Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities, autism, and/or FASD, and strong understanding of disability support practice.
  • Demonstrated success in an operational leadership role.
  • Proven ability to implement operational improvements or contribute to service transformation under senior leadership direction.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify issues and inform decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication, strong planning and organisational ability, including experience managing projects.
  • Confident and timely decision‑making, with the ability to identify key issues and escalate appropriately.

Requirements

  • A tertiary education or equivalent experience in a related field of management, social services, and/or health and wellbeing.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to travel as required for the role, with reasonable adjustments available to support accessibility needs
  • Appropriate clearance from the New Zealand Police and Oranga Tamariki.
  • Business or related studies (advantageous)
