What You’ll Do
We’re looking for an organised and proactive
LPG Business Support Lead to coordinate operational support activities across our LPG Asset and Delivery teams. Reporting to the LPG Operational Excellence Manager, you’ll lead two LPG Business Support Administrators and oversee key back-office processes that help keep our operations running smoothly.
Working across purchasing, supplier management, operational governance, Capex and Opex support, asset lifecycle activities and continuous improvement initiatives, you’ll partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support safe, efficient and customer-focused LPG operations.
Some Of The Key Responsibilities Are
- Lead, coach and set priorities for LPG Business Support Administrators, ensuring clear workload management and consistent service delivery
- Provide financial and operational oversight across purchasing, supplier coordination, maintenance support, inventory management and competitor returns
- Coordinate annual and long-term Capex planning, ensuring spend is accurately captured in Planview and approval processes are followed
- Partner with Project Managers and Capital Accountants on WIP capitalisation, asset register integrity, asset disposals and customer exit activity
- Oversee Workday purchase orders, accruals and change requests, ensuring Capex and Opex spend is accurately coded and aligned with approved budgets.
- Use reporting and process improvement to strengthen governance, visibility and decision-making across the LPG portfolio
What You’ll Bring
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching others, setting priorities and building accountability across financial and operational support activities.
- Experience in operational support, business administration, asset support, purchasing or supplier coordination
- Strong planning, prioritisation and workload management skills
- Confidence leading, coaching or supporting others in a busy operational environment
- Understanding of financial administration, Capex/Opex processes or purchase order management
- Confidence using business systems, ideally Workday, Planview or similar platforms
- A collaborative working style and the ability to build trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners
