With 14 branches nationwide, 400+ staff, and global partners across 60 countries, we’re looking for an enthusiastic graduate to join our team in Seaview, Lower Hutt.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent — or soon-to-be — HR or Health & Safety graduate to kick-start their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
As an integral member of the Human Resources team, you’ll be the first point of contact for HR and Health & Safety queries across the business. Working closely with the Human Resources Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience, practical skills, and the support needed to grow and succeed in your career.
What You’ll Be Doing
Human Resources
- Preparing employment documentation and completing pre-employment checks.
- Supporting onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment coordination.
- Assisting with HR-related queries across the business.
Health & Safety
- Supporting incident reporting and workplace inspections.
- Maintaining H&S systems, records, and communications.
- Assisting with sustainability initiatives and compliance administration.
About You
You don’t need direct industry experience — we’re looking for someone motivated, eager to learn, and ready to grow their career.
You’ll be a great fit if you
- Are studying towards or have recently completed a qualification in HR, Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Are proactive, organised, and keen to learn.
- Enjoy problem-solving and working with people.
- Are tech-savvy, confident using AI tools, and adaptable to change.
- Have an interest in the transport and logistics industry.
Working Hours
25–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the intention of moving to full-time before year-end. Flexible arrangements are available for candidates still studying. Please outline your availability in your cover letter.
