Skills Group Employment is looking for an organised and proactive Operations Administrator to support recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and placement activities across our apprentice and trainee programmes.
This 12-month fixed-term, full-time position is based at our East Tamaki campus, with hybrid working options available once you are established in the role. This is a varied and fast-paced opportunity where you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly - supporting successful apprentice onboarding, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and helping deliver accurate and timely operational processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate medicals, training bookings, and compliance requirements
- Support apprentice onboarding and programme coordination
- Prepare contracts, extensions, and placement documentation
- Maintain accurate CRM, compliance, and operational records
- Support recruitment administration, referencing, and candidate communications
- Use digital and AI tools to improve processes and reduce manual administration
Desired Skills And Experience
What we’re looking for
- 1-3 years’ experience in an administration or operations support role
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Confident communication skills across phone and email
- Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft 365, and digital tools
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn new systems and processes
