The Opportunity | Project Specialist

Based on the North Shore, this role is responsible for delivering smaller projects or workstreams within larger programmes across healthcare and facilities environments.

You will coordinate documentation, reporting and governance requirements while working to agreed scope, timeframes and budgets. This includes monitoring progress, managing risks and issues, maintaining accurate project records and systems, and supporting financial tracking. You will work closely with project managers, contractors and consultants within a structured and regulated delivery environment. You will contribute to continuous improvement of project practices, and operate within a complex, regulated environment with a strong focus on equity, partnership, and culturally responsive delivery.

What You’ll Bring

We are seeking a project professional who enjoys delivery-focused work and is comfortable operating within structured project environments while also offering:

  • Proven experience supporting or delivering construction or large-scale build projects
  • Relevant qualification in project management, business, construction, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools and systems such as Procore, Planview, Daptive, and Microsoft 365
  • Confidence managing project documentation, reporting, and coordination tasks
  • Experience working in complex or regulated environments like healthcare, government, or infrastructure

At a personal level you will be delivery-focused and be able to multitask as well as having well-developed written communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll be self-motivated, willing to be hands-on, with a can-do attitude. You’re naturally a team player, with an inquisitive problem solving ability, and analytical mindset. You have proven to effectively manage priorities in order to drive change.
