About the role

Playing an integral part in the coordination of category related collateral, this fast-paced role reports directly to a Merchandise Manager and ensures that promotional plans are executed accurately and optimised to drive sales growth.

You'll know you're the right person for the role if you have a resilient, tenacious personality, you thrive in a fast-paced role, have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, and you love the challenge of meeting defined deadlines. Able to work with set objective and set information, and yet still be able to find a way around information that may sometimes seem ambiguous, you'll rely on your problem-solving skills, asking questions along the way.

This role is within the Accessories, Adventure & Events category, which has a diverse and exciting product range including 4x4 & adventure, car accessories, and gifting. It is a fast-paced category, with a heavy focus on bringing new and exciting product to life!

Duties include

  • Coordinating the rollout of promotional campaigns across a range of marketing materials.
  • Reviewing and proofing promotional content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Managing multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Analysing and reviewing data to support decision-making.
  • Preparing and presenting reports.
  • Providing general administrative support related to the role and category.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About you

  • Category, merchandise or buying exposure, or an interest in developing a career in this area.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft suite capabilities including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to solve problems and analyse data.
  • Team player who takes pride in their work and the team's success
  • Detail focus and deadline driven.
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships.
  • Self-motivator, who is organised and highly adaptable to changing business requirements.
