We’re looking for a Broader Outcomes Lead to join Hawkins and drive the delivery of broader outcomes on one of New Zealand’s most significant construction projects.

This is a key project-based role, responsible for leading and delivering all Broader Outcomes commitments across the project lifecycle. You will own the strategy, reporting, and on-the-ground delivery of initiatives that create real value for people and the community.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners to ensure our commitments translate into measurable outcomes.
Te Kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
- Lead and deliver the Broader Outcomes strategy, including ownership of delivery, reporting, and KPIs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, iwi, education providers, and community partners
- Coordinate workforce development initiatives, including apprenticeships, and student placements
- Drive social procurement outcomes, supporting Māori, Pasifika and local businesses within the supply chain
- Lead community engagement programmes, events, and site visits to promote construction industry pathways
- Manage partnerships such as Jobs & Skills Hubs and external providers to deliver training and employment pathways
- Track, measure and report on Broader Outcomes performance and workforce diversity metrics
- Develop and manage the Broader Outcomes budget and ensure delivery within agreed allocations
- Champion wellbeing, sustainability and positive project culture across the team
