Support the day-to-day operations of the court by delivering administrative services and customer support. You'll work closely with Court Registry Officers, Judges and court users to help ensure the court runs efficiently and effectively.
In this role, you'll engage with a wide range of people including lawyers, judges, and members of the public, both in person and over the phone. This is a great opportunity to build experience in a fast-paced and meaningful environment
Day To Day Responsibilities Include
- Provide timely customer service to court users
- Support Judges and Court Registry Officers in and out of court
- Assist with jury service functions
- Complete administrative tasks (scan, file, photocopy)
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Handle evidence exhibits
- Process accounts payable tasks
- Enter and update data accurately

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $56,343 – $74,416, with the appointing salary based on skills and experience.

This is a permanent part-time position (24 hours per week) based in the Christchurch District Court. You can view a detailed position description and apply online by submitting your CV and cover letter.
