This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a critical platform, balancing operational excellence with technical skills, continuous improvement, and future-focused thinking.

As our Technical Lead for SAP, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our SAP environments while helping shape how the platform evolves over time. You’ll lead technical operational response activities, guide platform improvements, and work closely with delivery squads to ensure solutions are designed with long-term sustainability, operability, and quality in mind.

Working across both operations and delivery, you’ll partner closely with squads, vendors, business stakeholders, and technology partners to ensure our SAP ecosystem remains stable, secure, scalable, and ready for future business needs. You’ll also have the opportunity to help drive adoption of modern SAP technologies and smarter operational practices that reduce manual effort and improve reliability across the platform.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys solving meaningful technical challenges. You’ll be the kind of person who naturally steps into leadership during incidents, brings calm and clarity to technical decision making, and enjoys mentoring others while continuously improving ways of working. Alongside strong SAP BASIS and platform administration capability, you’ll bring a mindset focused on modernisation, automation, observability, and continuous improvement. You have a deep operational and lifecycle expertise that ensures you are comfortable performing client/system copies and planning/executing complex upgrades across integrated systems, considering the interdependencies between application, database, and OS layers.

We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting complex SAP operational environments
• Strong troubleshooting and incident/problem management capability
• Proven experience across our core SAP product suite: This includes S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, BW, SAC, Cloud Identity Services, and BTP products and services.
• Strong technical capability across SAP-related technologies: Specifically, ABAP, Databases, Integrations, UI5, and security protocols such as public key cryptography (PKI).
• A collaborative approach with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business conversations
• A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation, tooling, observability and emerging technologies
• The confidence to lead technically while remaining approachable and supportive to others
