About The Role
Member Services at Southern Cross Health Insurance is on an ambitious journey, reimagining how we deliver meaningful experiences and outcomes for our Members. As our Business Improvement Lead, you’ll be at the centre of that transformation. This is more than process improvement. It’s about creating better experiences for our people and Members through smarter ways of working, stronger operational performance, and sustainable change.
Partnering closely with leaders and frontline teams, you’ll uncover opportunities, challenge the status quo, and turn ideas into meaningful improvements across people, process, and technology. You’ll help embed a continuous improvement mindset that not only lifts performance today but builds capability for the future.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Business Improvement team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning
- Identify and deliver improvement initiatives that simplify processes and enhance customer outcomes
- Use data and insights to inform decision-making, prioritise work and track measurable benefits
- Embed continuous improvement, change and delivery practices into everyday ways of working
- Ensure initiatives are well-governed, effectively delivered, and achieve intended outcomes
- Maintain clear, consistent process documentation and knowledge management practices
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies and delivery impacts across initiatives
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to support collaboration and successful change

About You
You’re an experienced improvement leader who thrives in complexity, brings a strong customer lens, and knows how to translate strategy into tangible outcomes.
- Proven experience leading business improvement, operational excellence and change initiatives in complex environments
- Strong leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams
- Expertise in process improvement, change management and delivery disciplines
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and hands-on delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across senior and cross-functional teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions
- Ability to manage competing priorities, risks and ambiguity in evolving environments
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Business Improvement, Change Management or related disciplines
