We invite applications for a Professional Practice Fellow in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, that prides itself on its contribution to medical and health sciences teaching.

The Role | Te mahi

In this role you will principally be required to participate in teaching for the MBChB across a range of years in the Paediatrics speciality.

Main Objectives:

  • Participate in teaching and assessment within Paediatrics across years 2-6 of the MBChB programme.
  • Prepare and develop the e-learning resources needed to support the Paediatrics modules.

The successful applicant for this position should be a medical graduate with suitable post-graduate clinical experience and be preferably near completion or recently completed a post-graduate training program in a field of relevance to Critical Care Learning.

Applicants should demonstrate an enthusiasm for teaching and the development of new teaching methods and materials beyond those traditionally used in OMS, particularly e-learning.

This is a permanent, part-time (0.2 FTE) position based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.

The appointment range for this role is $148,414 to $184,993 per annum (pro-rata).
