Physiotherapy Assistant

Te Mahi/About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team who are committed to making a difference to help improve quality of life. As the physiotherapy assistant, you will be working within a small and friendly team where the focus will be on breathlessness interventions, maintenance of mobility and physical function, and patient and family education.
Hours of work are 60 hours per fortnight, with exact days and times to be agreed upon.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- NZQA level 3 or equivalent required
- Empathy
- Possess time-management and organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work
- Have initiative and ability to work unsupervised
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in a manner appropriate to the individual
- Always understand and preserve patient confidentiality
- Demonstrate an ability to work well in a team
