Finance Manager - Portfolio Finance

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead invest spend reporting, forecasting, and benefit management across our portfolio on a 8-month fixed term secondment basis due to parental leave cover.

As Finance Manager – Portfolio Finance, You Will

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of consolidated investment spend, maintaining alignment with ASB’s strategic objectives.
• Lead the invest planning process, providing insights to improve decision-making and business knowledge.
• Produce and enhance regular invest reports and management information to meet business needs.
• Manage benefit reporting for the bank, ensuring all ASB benefits are accurately tracked and communicated.
• Provide technical accounting advice, including capitalisation, month-end, project setup, and process improvements.
• Identify and manage financial risks related to invest spend.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to project and portfolio leaders, supporting people development through knowledge sharing and coaching.

• Deep understanding of commercial financial business issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to package information for all audiences.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Experience in data analysis, scenario modelling, and solving complex problems.
• People management experience with a track record of developing talent.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Management, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant, CFA, or equivalent.
