ICT Support Technician

We are on the lookout for an energetic ICT Support Technician to join our business.
What We Offer
- Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week it’s a Full-time permanent Role
- Hourly pay rate between $28 and $35, depending on experience and performance
- Flexible work hours based on a rotating roster – evening and weekend availability is essential
Key Responsibilities
- Install or configure software and driver on devices.
- Set up, test, and repair electronic devices (e.g., audio/visual equipment, laptops,
smartphones, tablets) to ensure proper functionality and resolve issues.
- Repair and troubleshoot various devices, including laptops, computers,
- MacBooks, smartphones, iPads, and tablets, by resolving faults, adjusting,
repairing, and replacing worn or defective parts and wiring, while maintaining machines, equipment, and instruments.
- Attentive at the front desk to make new tickets and assist in sales support.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers physically as well as over phone
support.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Continuously improve your knowledge of our products and services.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
To be successful you will need to
- Have at least two-year solid relevant experience, or
- Have a relevant NZQF level 4 or an equivalent qualification or higher,
- Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
- Must be reliable and available to work weekends and public holidays as required by the business.
- Be physically fit and willingness to work hard
- Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively
- Have "can-do" attitude
