The Opportunity

Here at ProPharma we are on the hunt for a Team Leader to join our busy Chemist warehouse operations Christchurch. Operating out of a modern, purpose-built facility and leading from the front, you will take ownership of one of our fast-growing segments, Chemist Warehouse (OTC).

We are looking for someone who can take our team to the next level of performance.

This role is active and varied—you will start and end your shift working across different parts of the main floor to help the wider team, while spending the rest of your days driving your own area.

Working closely with, and reporting directly to, the ProPharma Supervisor, you will also collaborate daily with 3 peer Team Leaders to share resources and balance site workloads. Whether you are an experienced supervisor or looking to take your first step into warehouse leadership, we are here to support you while you transition into the role.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. No regular weekend work, with occasional overtime during peak periods.

What You Will do

• People Leadership: Lead, coach, motivate, and train staff to help them meet their full potential.
• Process Improvement: Bring a proactive approach to establish clear priorities, standardise procedures, and build team engagement.
• Daily Operations: Ensure all warehouse tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Health & Safety: Proactively participate in the site Health & Safety program.
• Site Standards: Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Staff Support: Ensure staff have the direction and support required to achieve their required standard of performance.
• Site Collaboration: Contribute to the success of the site as part of the wider site leadership team.

What We Are Looking For

• Team Leadership: Experience guiding, training, and motivating a diverse team to help them reach their full potential
• Operational Drive: A reliable individual with strong organisation skills, a focus on accountability, and great attention to detail.
• Clear Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to build trust, standardise processes, and collaborate with peer supervisors.
• Warehouse Safety: An active promoter of a safe, clean, tidy, and compliant warehouse floor culture.
• Manual Handling: Comfortable with fast-paced shifts and the repetitive lifting of items weighing up to 15kg.
