What The Role Feels Like
This is a senior leadership role combining technical excellence, client partnership and project delivery across some of the region’s most complex civil infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with clients, multidisciplinary teams and emerging engineers, helping deliver practical, sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact on communities across Aotearoa.
What You’ll Do
- Lead complex civil design projects across urban development and infrastructure
- Deliver stormwater, utilities and civil infrastructure solutions for major projects
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Champion technical quality and design excellence across project delivery
- Lead internal project and design management for large-scale infrastructure work
- Mentor and develop junior engineers within the wider team
- Drive innovation and digital delivery across projects and client solutions
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience within a civil engineering consultancy environment
- Strong capability across roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities and pavements
- Deep understanding of NZ civil design standards and project delivery
- Experience in construction monitoring and quality assurance
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status, or progressing toward it
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder engagement capability
- Collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and team development
