Barista & Facilities Manager

As our Barista & Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in developing our co-working space into a vibrant and engaging entrepreneurial crossroads. Our mission is to create a co-working and events space that hosts dozens of events, hundreds of meetings, and thousands of visitors per year.

Your role is to

(1) provide the best Flat White in town – one that lures our community into the space for meetings, (2) manage the co-working facility including keeping the space looking sharp, supporting tenants, managing suppliers, coordinating maintenance, and welcoming guests arriving in the space, (3) support with events hosted by Icehouse Ventures and others in the space.

This is a role for an individual that gets joy from delivering great customer service and has true pride of place. Our goal is to find a team member that is proactive, honest, energetic, and positive.

This role also offers significant opportunities for career development. Success would see a team member cover all core responsibilities (running the café, maintaining the space, supporting tenants, and helping with events) with time to spare to learn about venture capital investing, connect with prominent investors, and learn from New Zealand’s leading entrepreneurs.
