The opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will support the Branch Manager in driving the performance and success of our Napier branch.
You'll lead by example - contributing to sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and helping develop a motivated, high-performing team.
This is not a desk-based position. You'll be highly visible on the floor, actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the branch, and ready to step in at the trade counter during peak periods to support the team and maintain excellent service levels.
Your Responsibilities
Industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Proactively assisting the Branch Manager to meet branch results across revenue, customer service, operational excellence and productivity targets
- Provide information, support, feedback, coaching and development to enable team members to perform to their maximum potential
- Assist with the coordination of accurate and timely picking, packing and despatch of product directly to customers or within the Napier network.
- Takes personal accountability for resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
