About The Role

You’ll work closely with customers, project and support teams to understand business requirements, support system enhancements and ensure successful delivery outcomes. This role combines business analysis, stakeholder engagement, development and testing support, continuous improvement, training and ongoing client support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Business Systems Analysis

  • Meet with or respond to customers’ requests. Review and clarify the customer’s functional requirements to ensure they are sufficient for design or development to commence.
  • Analyse existing workflows and processes, create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement.
  • Document clear and structured business and functional requirements.
  • Contribute to and review solution designs.
  • Document desired outcomes of system enhancement/development.
  • Liaise with developers and testers to estimate the size of project to determine the level of upfront design required.
  • Liaise with Project Managers to confirm estimates.
  • Support Development, System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the enhancement/development meets the solution design and fulfils the requirements.
  • Work as a crucial component of a team responsible for enhancing existing systems or developing new systems.
  • Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both business and technical audiences.

Specification Review and Monitoring

  • Review and monitor documentation to ensure accuracy, applicability and ease of use.
  • Use knowledge gained through review to continually improve on specifications provided.
  • Act as point of liaison with the client for any specification questions and queries.
  • Liaise with the Foster Moore team to ensure that any specification issues are addressed promptly.
  • Work with Project Manager and other team members to identify, raise, manage and control changes to requirements and/or scope raised by customers.
  • Where specification issues result in additional work as a result of client requests or variations ensure that variations, and associated costs, are made and actioned accordingly.

Support

  • Assist customer teams with testing and QA activities.
  • Deliver training to clients using one-on-one, group, classroom and on-line techniques as required.
  • Proactively seek feedback on training delivered and evaluate the performance of materials and integrate findings into future productions and improve on existing training materials and delivery methods.
  • Continually work to grow personal training skills and techniques to maximise effectiveness of training.
  • Provide post-training follow up and product support /assistance as required.
  • Provide problem management services for Foster Moore supported applications in production, within an ITIL environment.
  • Assist continuous improvement initiatives on existing applications.
  • Assist with diagnosis system defects raised by clients and seeing these through to resolution.
  • Work with other Foster Moore project teams to ensure smooth transition from project phase to business as usual.
