Garden Assistant

We are looking for two (2x) keen, green-fingered people to join our Jim's Mowing

Franchise in Christchurch. We are looking for people who are determined, love working

ourdoors, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. If this sounds like you, then read on!

This is a fulltime role, and we offer a minimum of 30 hours per week

• loading, unloading and moving garden supplies and equipment
• preparing garden sites and plots using hand tools and machines
• assisting with planting, transplanting and positioning flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns in gardens
• maintaining gardens by watering, weeding, pruning, mulching and fertilising, operating and adjusting irrigation systems and using protection stratergies
• raking, aerating, dethatching, fertilising and mowing lawns
• spraying and dusting trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens, as directed, to control pests, weeds and disease
cleaning gardens and removing rubbish
• A hard working, determined attitude
• No issues with working outside in the elements, or early starts.
• Previous experience in gardening or landscaping would be ideal, but not required
• A vehicle and full driver's license to get inbetween work sites is required.
• No formal experience required, as on the job training will be provided
