At New Zealand Skills Connect (NZSC), we're on a mission to help internationally qualified nurses successfully transition into the New Zealand healthcare system — and we need an amazing Nurse Educator to join our growing team.

The Role

You'll be teaching and mentoring internationally qualified nurses, covering:

New Zealand healthcare system orientation

OSCE exam preparation and simulation training

Bridging cultural and language gaps

Identifying individual skill gaps and tailoring your teaching style to each learner

Hours & Schedule

• Full-time role — minimum 32 hours per week

• Thursday to Sunday (great work-life balance Mon–Wed! )

• Mix of face-to-face and online teaching

Who We're Looking For

• Registered Nurse with 3+ years NZ clinical experience

. Previous Class room or clinical teaching experiece

• Passionate about education and mentoring

• Culturally inclusive — comfortable working with nurses from all backgrounds and nationalities

• Adaptable teaching style — you meet learners where they are, not where you expect them to be

• Deep understanding of cultural and language barriers in healthcare

• Based in Christchurch (or willing to relocate)

• Internationally qualified nurses currently practising in NZ are especially encouraged to apply
