About the role

This exciting position at The Village Palms in Christchurch, will see you working as part of a high performing and successful village team, leading the delivery of premium care hospitality services to our Care Suite residents. In this role you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a strong resident and family partnership, whilst overseeing the delivery of exceptional daily resident experiences. You will also lead and mentor a team of activity coordinators and housekeeping staff within the care home.

This role is a full-time position working 40 hours week Mostly from Monday to Friday and may include some weekend work.

Some of the great things you will be doing:

  • Assist residents to coordinate and manage their day in a way that enables them to spend their leisure time doing the things they love.
  • Manage the activities team to ensure an innovative variety of activities is delivered, that is aligned with our residents' interests
  • Manage the housekeeping and laundry functions
  • Work with the Food Services Manager to support a seamless dining experience for all residents.
  • Community engagement/ proactive sales leads generation foe our Care Suites

About you

Ideally you will have previous experience in hospitality/guest service type positions, ideally in Aged Care, or client service facing or event management roles. With a strong and proven background in leadership roles, you will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills along with the desire to provide an outstanding and premium service to our Care Suite Residents and their families.
