Senior FP&A Analyst
Join a globally operating New Zealand Hi-Tech and Manufacturing business in a high-impact role that blends strong technical accounting with commercial business partnering.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own the planning and forecasting function, deliver management reporting, and partner with senior leaders to drive sound financial decision-making – this role demands someone equally comfortable in the detail and advising leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting cycles
- Deliver P&L, cash flow, and variance analysis to senior leadership
- Partner cross-functionally to support strategic decisions and ROI assessment
- Monitor costs, identify drivers, and recommend optimisation actions
- Support revenue recognition and general accounting requirements
- Drive process and system improvements, including AI-enabled tools
Key Skills & Experience Required
- CA, CPA, or equivalent – essential
- Solid accounting grounding with proven FP&A or commercial finance experience
- Advanced Excel; experience with BI tools and ERP systems required
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to technology, construction, or manufacturing sectors advantageous
