Development Manager

The Role

The scope of this role covers initial conception, feasibility assessments and regulatory consents, consultant and contractor procurement through to the effective implementation and review of project outcomes.

Working within a high performing team you will work on a variety of projects and development management activities. This may include;

• Procurement and implementation of core infrastructure
• Engagement with stakeholders including; community housing providers, iwi, tenants, consultants and contractors
• Ensuring Developments are fiscally sound
• Contractual negotiations and management
• Programme development, Project Management, Construction oversight

About you

Ideally you will be an experienced Development Manager with a track record of delivering developments in Aotearoa. Tertiary qualified in a related discipline which could be in Property, Construction, Architecture or Engineering.

• Able to build and maintain productive working relationships
• Excellent communicator, high level of emotional intelligence
• Practical experience applying project management skills in a property context
• Managing developments successfully through the resource consenting process
• Experience in managing property developments throughout the entire development lifecycle
