We’re seeking a skilled Intermediate

Advisor – Property Advisory to join a team working at the forefront of complex property and land-related projects. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where strategic thinking, sound judgement, and commercial acumen are key.

About the Role

As an Advisor, you’ll play a key role in providing high-quality advice and support across a diverse portfolio of property matters. You’ll be involved in complex and often high-profile property transactions, development opportunities, and advisory work spanning both the public and private sectors.

This role requires someone who can navigate multiple perspectives and stakeholders — including government agencies, iwi partners, and private sector clients — while delivering outcomes that balance commercial, legal, and social considerations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and technical advice on complex property transactions, negotiations, and development projects.
  • Support decision-making with robust analysis and clear, well-structured recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including iwi, public sector agencies, and private partners.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, frameworks, and strategies that drive best practice in property management and development.
  • Ensure all advice and documentation meets high professional, legal, and ethical standards.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of commercial awareness, relationship management, and critical thinking. You’ll be confident navigating complex property, legal, or financial issues and able to communicate advice clearly to a range of audiences.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Finance, Property, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in property development, advisory, or transactional work, ideally involving complex or multi-stakeholder projects.
  • A breadth of experience across public and private sectors (highly advantageous).
  • Experience working with iwi or a strong understanding of Māori interests in land and property.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
