We are partnering with one of New Zealand’s leading trading banks on the appointment of a senior leadership role within its Home Lending business.

This opportunity will suit an experienced banking leader with deep expertise across home lending, proprietary distribution, mobile mortgage channels, and sales leadership.

Leading a nationally distributed team of Mobile Mortgage Managers and Associates, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth across proprietary lending, enhancing customer outcomes, strengthening capability, and shaping the future direction of the mobile lending proposition.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the strategic development of the mobile lending channel
• Driving sustainable growth across proprietary home lending
• Building and leading a high-performing national team
• Partnering across product, customer proposition, and distribution functions
• Leveraging technology and data-driven insights to improve performance and customer engagement
• Ensuring strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Acting as an ambassador for the business internally and externally

Candidates will likely bring:

• Senior leadership experience within retail, business banking or home lending
• Strong understanding of the New Zealand home lending market
• Proven ability to lead high-performing sales and lending teams
• Strong commercial, credit, and stakeholder management capability
