About the role
Due to the continued growth of our Property and Private Client practice, we are excited to announce a newly established role within our Christchurch-based team, led by Ingrid Taylor and Mike Kerr.
As an experienced Legal Executive, you'll be responsible for
- Drafting and preparing legal documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, related settlement documents, and LINZ/e-dealing forms.
- Liaise and meet with clients, banks, real estate agents, and other external parties, conducting necessary due diligence and title searches.
- You’ll manage transactions from start to finish, overseeing funds, coordinating settlements, and delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients, ensuring compliance with all procedural and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with trust administration, estate matters, and private client workstreams
About you
We’re looking for a Legal Executive with a minimum of 5+ years' experience in conveyancing and transactional property matters.
With a strong client focus, you'll be an excellent communicator with the ability and confidence to manage files independently. You'll have good technical legal knowledge; interpersonal and time management skills and you will thrive in a fast paced and collaborate team environment.
A Legal Executive qualification (or similar) is preferable, but not essential.
