About The Role
this role leads the automation deployment and optimisation of cloud and on premise environments
you will drive infrastructure as code cicd secure deployments and engineering efficiency across a hybrid landscape
this is a senior technical role providing devops leadership best practice and continuous improvement
this role does not have people management responsibility
Key responsibilities
- cloud and devops delivery
- build and optimise cloud infrastructure across aws azure and gcp
- develop and maintain infrastructure as code
- manage and enhance cicd pipelines
- oversee kubernetes and container based deployments
- support cost optimisation and finops practices
automation and software delivery
- lead automated build deployment and release processes
- maintain stable production and non production environments
- drive an automation first mindset to improve speed and consistency
- embed security controls into delivery workflows
leadership and collaboration
- mentor devops engineers and uplift engineering capability
- support knowledge sharing documentation and code reviews
- partner with finance security and engineering teams
- communicate effectively with stakeholders on delivery incidents and change
Skills And Experience
- strong experience across cloud platforms automation and devops tooling
- hands on experience with infrastructure as code cicd and containers
- experience with kubernetes and docker
- strong scripting skills in python bash or powershell
- experience with modern git workflows
- exposure to compliance and high availability environments
- experience working in agile delivery environments
