Warehouse Manager

We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our DC operations at the Henderson Production Plant. As part of the senior leadership team on site, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations in a busy 24/6 FMCG operation, leading a large team and taking ownership of performance across but not limited to Safety, Compliance, Cost, Inventory & Productivity.

You will work closely with cross-functional departments to create a high-performing environment where people are supported, high standards are met, operational excellence is maintained, and continuously driving efficiencies and improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Taking ownership of a significant cost centre, ensuring labour and operational costs are managed within budget
• Leading warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch. Maintain excellent DIFOT levels.
• Lead, support and develop a large team (7 direct & 80 indirect) across warehouse, food safety, regulatory compliance, HSE and administration
• Optimise warehouse layout, space utilisation and business processes
• Lead and execute quarterly stocktake and weekly cycle counts.
• Maintaining accurate inventory, batch control, and stock integrity in a high-volume throughput environment
• Monitor operational performance and report directly to the Logistics & Exports Manager
• Using BI reports & systems (including M3/WMS), to drive performance, efficiency and informed decisions

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience managing warehousing and logistics operations (preferably in a FMCG or production environment)
• Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with people leadership experience in a fast-paced, operational setting
• High attention to detail and confidence working in a regulated environment with safety and compliance requirements
• Experience managing operational budgets or cost centre performance
• Advanced Excel and systems management skills (Reporting, Analysis, Operational tracking)
• Exceptional communication skills
