About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Performance Manager to lead and drive operational excellence. This role is focused on lifting commercial outcomes, embedding operational excellence, and enhancing customer experiences across our village operations. Reporting to the Executive Operations & Strategy Manager, you will be a strategic leader in driving revenue optimisation, consistent operating standards, effective systems adoption, and disciplined cost management across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include
Partnering with Operations, Clinical, Finance, and Procurement, you will set the strategic direction for operational performance across the portfolio, standardising customer experience practices, improving workforce and roster effectiveness, embed enabling technologies, and ensure strong governance, compliance, and financial outcomes.
- Design and implement margin improvement plans and process improvements
- Lead the strategic oversight of the roster processes, including standardisation, controls, reporting, identifying site specific rostering reviews
- Monitor satisfaction metrics and make recommendations for service improvements
- Oversee management of key suppliers, development of long-term strategic partnership
- Lead the design and deployment of national standards for our customer experience
- Contribute to the setting of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Monitor compliance with company policies, legislative requirements
About You
This role requires a curious, commercially astute, strategically minded leader who can influence outcomes at scale. With 5+ years' experience in an operational management role, you will have a demonstrable ability to influence and lead cross functional teams and external partners.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including financial analysis and performance management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, financial systems, and Power BI
- Proven experience establishing, analysing, and optimising complex workforce rosters and related systems
- Experience leading projects from concept through to execution
- Experience in Aged Care and/or Retirement Living environments (highly desirable)
