Senior Talent Advisor

Love variety and connecting with great people? We’re looking for a Senior Talent Advisor to join our Auckland team! You’ll play a big part in shaping how we find and grow top talent, managing everything from our much-loved Early Careers programme to end-to-end recruitment across exciting parts of our business. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role with plenty of opportunities to make an impact. You’ll be joining an established team and will have strong support from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your week will be full of variety. Some days you’ll be managing full recruitment cycles, and others you’ll be out connecting with future talent or diving into talent projects. You will:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles, partnering with hiring managers to deliver great outcomes
• Lead and deliver our Early Careers programme, including graduates, interns and cadetships from planning and development through to delivery
• Work with the business to develop and deliver the Early Careers programme
• Represent Tonkin + Taylor at universities, career fairs, and industry events, promoting our brand and connecting with future talent
• Support or present at forums and networking sessions, engaging with the Engineering and Science industry bodies
• Build strong talent pipelines and proactively network across the market to keep us up to date on trends and insights
• Partner with the wider Talent team to deliver projects across employer brand, D&I, international attraction, workforce planning, data insights and privacy

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in a recruitment role
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• A knack for connecting, communicating, and influencing
• Curious to understand needs and shape great outcomes
• A collaborative, team-first approach
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Love for great candidate and hiring manager experiences
• The ability to work at pace and juggle priorities
• Solid commercial awareness
• Bonus points for experience in technical or professional services (but don’t worry, we’ll teach you the engineering and science ropes!)
