This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with guaranteed hours, competitive pay, overtime opportunities, allowances, and penal rates under the South Island AWUNZ agreement.
About the role
As a Drainlayer, you’ll be involved in the installation, maintenance and repair of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure across the Nelson region. You’ll work alongside experienced crews delivering high-quality civil works safely and efficiently.
What you’ll bring
- Previous drainlaying or 3 waters experience
- Class 1 licence required (Class 2 advantageous)
- Strong understanding of underground services and civil construction
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Commitment to health & safety with a Zero Harm mindset Reliable, hardworking attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
