YOUR TASKS

At HELLA NZ, we develop, produce, and export world-class lighting and electronic components, with a global impact.

Join us as a Product Manager to drive innovation with Global Impact and to lead the product lifecycle and portfolio management for our global Marine products. This is a dynamic role where you’ll drive performance, reduce complexity, and deliver results that matter across a broad product range.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle: development, launch, review, and continuous improvement
• Manage customer/sales interaction and lead product innovation within the Hella Marine portfolio
• Act as the technical product expert across internal teams and with customers
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Logistics, Quality, and Production to optimise product performance
• Manage product master data across SAP/PDM/PIM and maintain up-to-date documentation
• Analyse market trends, product performance, and competitor activity
• Ensure clear communication and up-to-date documentation for catalogues, training materials, and exhibitions
• Support pricing strategy and lifecycle decisions based on data and commercial insights
• Contribute to corporate initiatives in health, safety, and continuous improvement

Your Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• A qualification in engineering or a related science discipline (degree preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in a product management environment
• Proven technical writing and reporting skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• A proactive, hands-on attitude and sound commercial judgement
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Advantages if you have marine industry experience and exposure to global product development or export-oriented environments
