Korero mo te turanga | About the Role
We are seeking a Performance and Capability Coach - Administration Support to join our People and Capability team. In this role, you will play the lead role in supporting the development and implementation of initiatives that enhance the performance and capability of our administrative staff across the Treasury.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the design and delivery of tailored training programmes and resources to build the skills and knowledge of our administrative workforce.
- Coaching and mentoring administrative staff to help them achieve their professional goals and contribute effectively to the Treasurys objectives.
- Collaborating with people leaders to identify development needs and create solutions that align with organisational priorities.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of capability-building initiatives and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Promoting a culture of learning and development, ensuring that our administrative staff feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who is passionate about people development and has a strong understanding of administrative functions. You will bring:
- Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, or training roles, ideally within a public sector or organisational context.
- An understanding of administrative processes and the skills required to excel in administrative roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of people.
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively with managers and teams to identify and address development needs.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
