About the role
- Deliver friendly, approachable service to all event guests, organisers, and stakeholders
- Monitor venue environments and take prompt action where risks or incidents arise
- Conduct bag checks, security screening, and validate tickets or accreditation as required
- Assist with crowd control and safe movement of people through event spaces
- Manage vehicle and gate access according to established procedures
- Provide clear, calm communication to resolve or de-escalate situations
- Contribute positively to the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of every event
- Represent Red Badge Group's standards and values at all times
Key Requirements
- Hold (or be able to obtain) a current NZ COA (Certificate of Approval) security licence
- Clean criminal conviction record
- Previous experience in security, hospitality, customer service, or a similar field is an advantage
- Flexible availability – including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand and a minimum age of 18 years
