We’re looking for a Senior Application Specialist – AI & Automation who thrives on owning solutions end to end — from design and build through to run, optimisation, and evolution.

In this role, you’ll design, build, and support AI agents and automated business workflows that reduce manual effort, improve outcomes for our people and customers, and help make Kiwi better off.

Our team members have T shaped skill sets, combining strong product thinking with hands on delivery capability and effective stakeholder engagement.

You’ll work under the direction of the Lead Application Specialist, following established solution approaches, standards, and best practices, and contributing to the uplift of our AI & Automation capability through high‑quality delivery and continuous improvement.

You’ll be trusted to make sound implementation decisions within agreed patterns and guardrails, balance speed with sustainability, and take accountability for the solutions you deliver beyond go live.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of AI agents and automated workflows, from design and build through to ongoing optimisation
• Create AI‑driven automations that measurably improve experiences and reduce manual effort for the business
• Design, build, and evolve AI and automation solutions using platforms such as Power Platform technologies (Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power Apps and RPA), ServiceNow and Azure AI Foundry.
• Work closely with the Lead Application Specialist to align on solution design, technical standards, patterns, and platform direction, while independently owning delivery outcomes.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and well‑run, managing incidents, defects, and technical issues as required
• Continuously improve agent behaviour and workflows using data, insights, and stakeholder feedback

• Proven experience designing, building, and supporting AI agents and workflow automation solutions
• Hands‑on expertise with Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, or comparable automation and AI tools
• Hands on experience with tools like ServiceNow, Azure Dev Ops, Nexthink, Confluence advantageous
• Strong workflow analysis and business process design capability, with a delivery mindset
• Experience working in large, complex environments, balancing technical delivery with stakeholder expectations
• Confidence owning solutions end‑to‑end, from concept through to operational support and optimisation
• Solid understanding of application integration, environments, and platform stability
• A proactive, analytical approach, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
